Many times the signals do not have complementary information about the video such as Closed Caption or Subtitles. In these cases, the OCR News tool allows you to index the texts that appear in the video as a text string to later allow searches. It is mostly used on news signals where notes that happen are published. A range of the image is defined where it is decided to perform the scan, and then with OCR algorithms and artificial intelligence, the images are converted to text and linked to a database.
