The module allows indexing the text contained in the clips as metadata related to the video and audio. Many times the signals do not have complementary information about the video such as Closed Caption or Subtitles. In these cases, the transcription tool allows you to use the audio conversations to extract the text as metadata and then allow searches or alerts for the appearance of keywords.
Automatic transcription allows intelligent searches, whether for identical or similar words, groups of words, or phrases.
It is a very powerful tool to audit media or politics. It can be used to know what they are saying about a brand, an entity or a person.
The search engine automatically takes you to the video fragment, so that you can quickly view and export the segment of interest.
In the search engine they can be combined with Station and date/time filters.
The search engine groups fragments of text so that it can search for several words and see if the combination of those words appears at any time. Very useful to search for news where a person, or an organization is linked to a specific event, or a place or another person.
Searches can also be exported in CSV or XLS files as reports, and the system has a very powerful text indexing engine which allows searches to be very fast with hours and hours of indexed content.
As can be seen in the image on the right, the new “Create Advanced Text” functionality allows you to generate the audio transcription to a text with punctuation marks, thus facilitating the user's work.
The learning engine runs locally. It does not require integration with Cloud solutions or additional expenses.
