At 3Way Solutions we share the excellent operational results achieved after the implementation of our software platform in Channel 9 of Argentina (El Nueve). Being one of the most traditional open television stations, with a grid strongly focused on the production of live content and highly deployed newscasts, this project consolidates our position as a strategic technological partner for television channels with massive national transmission.
The technical challenge posed by Canal 9's engineering management required the comprehensive renewal of its storage and quality control systems. The station needed to centralize the permanent capture of its Buenos Aires header signal and its different digital formats, ensuring both strict compliance with the legal copying regulations in force in the country and quick access to the files by the production areas. To unify these tasks under a single lightweight interface, we implemented our monitoring and recording television signals.
The core of the deployment was structured around our advanced Logging, Clipping and Multiviewer, specifically designed to operate under highly technically demanding environments 24 hours a day. Through this integration, Channel 9 has incorporated the following tools into its daily routine:
Uninterrupted Compliance Logging: A robust environment monitoring and recording television signals that records the air signal with efficient encoding of video, audio and metadata (such as Closed Caption), allowing quick searches for regulatory or commercial audits.
Agile Web Clip Generation: Through a native HTML5 user interface, content producers and the social media team can remotely access breaking news from the air and upload it to their digital platforms in seconds.
Real Time Supervision: The system allows central control operators to monitor the technical health of the transmission flow, sending automated alerts in the event of signal failures or drops.
